Care groups

We all experience difficult seasons in our lives: illness, recovery, financial hardship, broken relationships, marriage or parenting challenges, adoption, foster & orphan care, loss and grief. God uses each to shape us in distinct ways, and He designed the church to be the community we need around us during these times. All of us are dependent on Christ for our emotional health, growth for our relationships and healing.

Adoption, Foster, & kinship care

Our goal is to provide foster care and adoptive moms with a place to encourage and support one another using the truth of God’s Word.

Divorce Care is a care group for anyone desiring to find hope, help, and healing after a marriage break-up.  It’s a place where you’ll be encouraged by people who have been where you are, and where you’ll learn how to deal with the unique emotions, stresses and challenges of life during and after divorce.  This ten-week faith-based group experience will provide you with the tools you’ll need to recover, recenter, and rebuild your life through all the pain, losses, and opportunities of divorce. We are not currently hosting a chapter, but our closest partner is West Park Baptist  Church. For more details and to register, please visit

DivorceCare for Kids

Are your children angry, hurt, and confused about your separation or divorce? A DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) group is a safe, fun place where your children can learn skills that will help them heal. DC4K groups blend games, music, stories and discussion to help kids process the divorce and move forward. Classes are designed to occur simultaneously with the DivorceCare groups to encourage discussion between the parent and child.

Encouraging Veterans Through Veterans

We invite all veterans – this unique group of soldiers, sailors, airmen, and marines of ALL generations – to join us the third Sunday of each month at 11:00 am in the Counseling Conference Room for a gathering of Encouraging Veterans. Our hope is to simply connect veterans with veterans and together discover ways to live out the gospel, encourage, and invest in each other through our common life experience.

Grief & Loss

A Care (Support) Group for those who mourn

Grieving the death of someone you love can be extraordinarily difficult and painful. If you are grieving a loved one and desire a safe place to navigate your loss, we invite you to participate in a care group for grievers. This group, offered by the Biblical Counseling Center, will explore the complexities of grief, provide connection with fellow grievers and stir hope for the future. For more information, please contact Karen Moore.

Griefshare is a national ministry that we partner with. If you need connections to that, please visit their site below. Don't Go Through the Grieving Process Alone. GriefShare is a friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. We understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable resources in your recovery and look forward to rebuilding your life.

When it comes to marriage or preparing for marriage we tend to simply replicate all we know or have been taught. In many cases we do not have the critical skills or information to do any different than what we have learned from others along the way. But what if there were mentors, skills, those that would pray for you and encouragement available to help you shape a new legacy of strength for your marriage - new patterns - for future generations? What if the gospel is intended to show how we experience joy, love and companionship?

Pornography and sexual struggle are almost ubiquitous to our culture. Yet, many men fear change or are not desperate enough to take steps toward healing due to the shame and guilt that surround these struggles. This men's group addresses sexual and pornography struggles by starting with “what’s right with you” versus “what’s wrong with you." If you or someone you love are ready to take a brave step toward healing, please email Simply include your name and contact info with the word PREVAIL. This is a confidential email, and no other descriptions are needed. This group is not currently meeting, but if you would like to be added to a waitlist, or connect with a counselor, please email us through the link below.
