For the Sake of His Name

Greg teaches this week on For the Sake of His Name, going through several passages in Romans and John. Greg shows how the text teaches us that we were made and built to worship. When you remove God from your worship, Greg says, you'll still worship, but you'll worship something else. But, Greg warns that everything else except God will lead to blinding failure, especially when we worship ourselves. We are not worthy to be the center of everything, the text shows, but God is.

Greg also goes through the Gospel, helping us see that every single sin ever has been punished by the wrath of God. But as Believers, the wrath went on Jesus, not on us. We are not saved because of all we have done or could do, Greg explains, we are saved so that we can bear fruit for Christ.
