Every day, thousands of migrants cross the border in Tijuana, going from Mexico to the United States. In this mass migration, it is easy to forget there are stories behind every number. This film is about one family: a father, a mother, and two daughters. Gang violence forced them from their home in Southern Mexico. They found refuge in Tijuana and are trying to seek asylum and legally make a new start in the United States.
