AN EQUIPPING CONFERENCE FOR PARENTS OF KIDS & TEENS

August 15, 2026  |  8:30am-2:00pm  |  Student Center

Engage is more than a parenting conference—it’s an invitation to be equipped, encouraged, and intentional in the way we lead our families.

This year, we’re focusing on anxiety and resilience, equipping families with practical tools and biblical truth to help kids navigate big feelings with confidence and faith. Through three powerful sessions—Strong Roots, Anchored, Not Anxious, and From Reaction to Relationship—we’ll explore how to ground our children in identity and truth, guide them through anxious moments with steady reassurance, and move from reactive parenting to deeper, connected relationships.

Our hope is that you leave encouraged, equipped, and empowered to raise kids who are resilient, rooted in Christ, and prepared to stand firm through life’s challenges.

Speakers

Devon & Erin Accardi

Devon and Erin Accardi have been married for 20 years and have served together in ministry in various ways the entire time. For 16 years, the Accardis served on staff with Young Life in Anderson County where they led high school students, discipled college students, and partnered with adults. Devon now serves as the Executive Pastor of Ministries here at Fellowship and Erin works as a Mental Health Therapist at Ebenezer Counseling. They spend most of their free time driving their kids to where they need to be.

Clark Stevens

Clark completed his doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (UTSouthwestern), in 1997. He served on the faculty of UT Southwestern and provided care as a psychologist in private practice in Grapevine, Texas, before moving to Knoxville in 2007. His specialties include marriage and family therapy, as well as individual counseling for mood disorders, post traumatic stress, and themes related to personal and relational effectiveness. Clark was also the Pastor of Marriage and Family Ministries at Fellowship Church for nearly 10 years.

Kevin & AMy Denning

Kevin and Amy Denning are enjoying their 37th year of marriage.  They have three adult children and one granddaughter.  They have been members of Fellowship for nearly 20 years.

Because they have seen the power of other believers speaking biblical truth into their marriage, parenting and personal walk with Jesus they enjoy doing the same with others.  They have seen the goodness and faithfulness of the Lord over the years in seasons of deep joy and deep sorrow.

Kevin is retiring after 33 years of work as a financial advisor.  He has served as an elder at Fellowship and currently travels to England each year for ministry.  Amy serves on various ministry boards and is involved in the Moms & More ministry at Fellowship.
