Before we participate in any endeavor, we must first learn to listen to God as He guides us. We can use Jesus as a model of how we can be vigilant to what the Father has in store for us. As we begin any encounter, we should explore how we can listen to the Holy Spirit and let Him guide us as we serve and love those around us.

- What are the loudest voices in your life right now? Do you think those voices are saying things the Holy Spirit wants you to hear?
- How does the Holy Spirit talk to us?
- What are three things you can do to grow in listening to the voice of the Holy Spirit?
- Think about what you want the Holy Spirit to reveal to you while you are on mission? What is your heart telling you about your greatest need or area of spiritual growth? Ask Jesus to meet you in that place.
